Silk cloud by Darngoodyarn.com

DGY has some amazing yarn and a wonderful way of helping others at the same time
I Just love there yarn, and sari wraps ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ˜Š
if I had more spare money I would had tons of both of these!
I really love what the company stands for and what they sell is awesome!!
Check it out for yourself and see!

To knit or not to knit.. That is the question

So I am a looong time crocheter.. I have dabbled with knitting at different times over the years but always went back to crochet.. It is  quicker, and I feel I can be more creative ๐Ÿ˜Š.
Then my preteen daughter started asking me to teach here. Mind you she is still learning crochet lol.  Then a friend asked me why I didn't knit. So after a lot  of thought I took my own advice and went to YouTube and see if what I had called knitting was truly knitting. I love YouTube❣️
After telling my daughter not to give up on things she don't know how to do. I am glad I gave it another try again to find out I can learn to knit.
This is what I have done in the last few days.. This is the garter stitch (I believe, newbie here;-) )
I do have to say I really like using bamboo knitting needles. I use a 19 plastic needle on the scarf and a 10 on the wash. Cloths.
I just may have to do a review on the different types on needles after I get  more knitting under my belt.
But don't worry I will still be crocheting ๐Ÿ’œ
This is one of the prayer shawls I have made in the last couple of weeks๐Ÿ˜Š☝️

A new find

Strolling the mine asle for my favorite craft store Jo-Ann Fabric with my daughter. I walked up to a bin with bags of yarn. I have seen it before but never picked it up.. One reason was the colors at the time didn't appeal to me. But that day something catch my eye.. It was fleece!
What I like about it...

It works up awesome!

There is not little to no flaws in the yarn in this bag yarn

There is 4 balls of yarn in the bag

The price  is great I believe it was 6-7 dollars for 14 Oz.  You can't get that much fleece for that price.

I recommend to all of you... The  next time you got to your favorite craft store look for it..
I  am using my bag to make  baby blankets to donate to Key of Hope

Thank you for reading!
God Bless

Review on Crafter Secret Yarn

So I was at Hobby Lobby just before  Christmas to get yarn for an order..
When I went there I had all plans to buy and use I Love This yarn!  Brand they sell..
But as I wonder through the yarn department pick out my yarn I noticed a new brand that was there the last time I was in Hobby Lobby.
It is called Crafter's Secret brand yarn.  The yarn comes in 7oz  skeins for $2.99 they have a nice assortment of colors and some variegated too to choose from.. For the price and the size of the skeins I would choose this brand over Red Heart when I had that option ..
I checked there websitewww.hobbylobby.com they have 36 different colors to choose from :)The shipping is based on your subtotal. .. Example Up to $25.00 is $6.95and it goes from there
I really like how it works up and it feel like good quality doesn't feel cheep at all !
It is made in Turkey . I would like if. It was made in the U.S.A but I would take Turkey over made in China !
